About.

Lucy Godínez (she/her) is a Chicago-based actress, singer, and advocate. She began performing professionally at age ten and, much to her actor parents’ dismay, never looked back. Throughout her time as a student at Northwestern University, she was seen in such shows as "Green Day's American Idiot", "The Drowsy Chaperone", "Anna In The Tropics", "Urinetown", "Company", and two years in Northwestern's annual "Waa-Mu Show". In 2017, she was awarded the Sarah Siddons Society Scholarship, a recognition bestowed upon students with a promising future in musical theatre. She graduated in 2018 with a B.A. in both Theater/Latine Studies and a certificate in Music Theater. Working professionally both pre and post-grad, Lucy has performed at some of the most beloved and prestigious regional theaters in the country including the Goodman Theatre, Dallas Theater Center, Fulton Theatre, and more. Offstage, she volunteers as a medical and legal advocate through Resilience, a Chicago-based rape crisis center dedicated to the healing and empowerment of sexual assault survivors. A proud Cuban American, she loves the outdoors, big dogs, and Rupaul’s Drag Race.
